Who we are

Alkebulan Tours was founded with a vision that goes beyond travel. These are not simply tours—they are a return: to the land, to our origins, to ourselves, and to the I AM.

Our founder, Albertina Chipo Chidziva Walker, was born and raised in Zimbabwe before pursuing her higher education in the United States. With degrees in Marketing, Accounting, and Finance, her professional path was firmly established. Yet it was motherhood that awakened a deeper calling—one that led her to question identity, origin, and the spiritual journey of mankind.

The name Alkebulan—meaning Garden of Eden or Mother of Mankind—is a name almost erased from history, yet it carries within it the truth of origin. From this truth came a longing: to reconnect with the land, to rediscover sacred stories, and to create pathways for others to experience the same.

At Alkebulan Tours, we believe that self-discovery is not bound by religion, color, or geography. Humanity is more than division—we are creativity, resilience, and divine essence. Our tours are designed to guide participants into untrodden spaces that awaken the heart, revive the spirit, and remind us of the great I AM within.

We do not focus on sites of bondage, but on places that give life—places that invite reflection, healing, and reconnection with God’s presence inside us all. As scripture reminds us:

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”
— Jeremiah 6:16 (NIV)

Our mission is simple yet profound: to awaken the heart of Alkebulan, and through it, the heart of humanity.
